Parrikar’s IFFI, Cyberage blasted by the CAG

A longish article titled Goanet Reader: Who’s picking your pocket? An official report gives you facts and figures on the just-released Comptroller and Auditor General report for Goa for the year ended March 31, 2005.

And a quote: I ended telling Ms Choure that, in the past few years, the quality of the CAG reports seem to be improving for Goa. For a change, it was the ‘big picture’ which was being looked at, rather than just cluttering the pages with trivia.

Quite a few interesting issues coming up here. For sure. But what will come out of this? Probably nothing. Can we expect our politicians, our press and our people to wake up to the reality that what’s being mortgaged is nothing less than our future?
